Caldera Resources Inc. is a Montreal based, mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition of advanced gold deposits located in South-eastern Europe and the Republic of Armenia.
This geographic region has a rich mining history due to its location on the Tethyan belt. The Tethyan Belt is a major porphyry-related mineralized zone that extends across central and South-eastern Europe, Turkey, Armenia, Iran, Pakistan, through the Himalayan region into Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Currently the Company is focused on developing the Marjan Gold-Silver Deposit located in the southern province of Suynik, in the Republic of Armenia. The license for the project is held 100% by Marjan Mininig Company, LLC, a wholly owned Armenia subsidiary of Marjan-Caldera Mining LLC.
Marjan-Caldera Mining LLC is a JV company owned 55% by Caldera Resources Inc. and 45% by our Joint Venture partner Global Gold Corporation.
